Chat arena

A battle royale that plays itself: each viewer steps in with a fighter, everyone charges the nearest one and the hits send them flying. The ring shrinks until only one is left.

How a game goes

  1. Play opens the entries: chat types !arena (or !arene, !fight), each viewer gets a fighter and a colour.
  2. The fight starts on its own after the time you chose, or when you click Start the fight.
  3. The fighters chase and shove each other; whoever leaves the ring is out. The ring closes in to the last one, in about thirty seconds.
  4. The ranking follows the order they went out, the last one standing first; the first three get 10, 7 and 5 season points, the others 1.

On the viewers' side

Viewers take part by typing !arena in chat while entries are open. Everything happens on the overlay in OBS: no extension to install, nothing to authorise.

Settings you can change

  • Fighters at most — 2 to 100: beyond that, further !arena lines are ignored.
  • Automatic start (seconds) — 15 to 300 after the entries open. 0: you start the fight yourself.
