How a game goes

  1. You start the game from the dashboard; an emoji rebus appears with its category: film, video game, series or song.
  2. Chat types its answer; typos and partial titles count, and nobody sees anyone else's answer.
  3. A hint comes out at each quarter of the time, the last one shows the title's shape; finding it early earns 100 points, then 70, 40 and 20, with a bonus for the first.
  4. The answer shows at the end of the round; the leaderboard runs over the session and counts for the season.

On the viewers' side

Viewers take part by typing their answer in chat. Everything happens on the overlay in OBS: no extension to install, nothing to authorise.

Settings you can change

  • Categories — No box ticked = every category.
  • Rebus — The site's, your own (below), or a mix of both.
  • Rounds per game — 3 to 20.
  • Time per round (seconds) — 20 to 120. A hint comes out at each quarter of the time.
  • Advance automatically — The next round starts 8 seconds after the answer. Otherwise you press Next round.
  • My rebus — One per line: emojis = answer, then up to two hints after semicolons. Example: 🦁👑 = The Lion King ; Disney ; 1994
