Chat challenges

Let chat dare you: "headshots only", "no HUD until the boss". It proposes, it backs its favourites, you alone pick what goes on screen, and the overlay shows the verdict.

How a game goes

  1. Play opens the challenges: chat types !challenge (or !defi) then its challenge (150 characters at most), one per viewer.
  2. Chat backs a challenge with +1 and its number; the overlay lists the most backed numbers, never their text until you accept one.
  3. You accept a challenge: it goes on screen, with a timer if you like.
  4. You say whether it succeeded or failed, and the overlay announces it with a sound; Stop wipes everything.

On the viewers' side

Viewers take part by typing !challenge then their challenge, or +1 and a challenge's number. Everything happens on the overlay in OBS: no extension to install, nothing to authorise.

Settings you can change

  • Challenge timer (seconds) — 0 to 3600. 0: no timer. You can pick another one when accepting.
  • Challenges waiting at most — 10 to 200. Beyond that new ones are refused until you handle some.
