Timed runs and challenges

Run splits

The speedrunners' timer, for any run: a level, a boss, a whole game. Each step has its time, compared with your best run; your records stay from one stream to the next.

Play from the dashboard

How a game goes

  1. You write your steps, one per line (for example World 1, Boss, End), in the settings or from the dashboard.
  2. Space starts the run, then marks each step done; the last one stops it. U undoes the last step, P pauses.
  3. The overlay shows the timer and every step: green when ahead of your best run, red when behind, gold for your best step ever.
  4. Your best run and best steps are kept for next time; changing the steps clears them.

On the viewers' side

Viewers take part by watching the timer on the overlay, nothing to type. Everything happens on the overlay in OBS: no extension to install, nothing to authorise.

Settings you can change

  • Title — Shown above the steps, for example Any% or No-hit challenge. Can stay empty.
  • Steps — One per line, 1 to 30, 40 characters at most. Empty: the ones from last time. Changing them clears your records.
