Count together

The simplest game in the world, and the most tense: the whole chat counts together, as far as it can. One wrong number, or the same viewer twice in a row, and the counter drops back to zero in front of everyone.

How a game goes

  1. Play puts the counter at zero on the overlay; chat types 1, then 2, then 3…
  2. A message that is only a number counts; the rest of chat carries on as usual.
  3. A wrong number or the same viewer twice in a row: back to zero, and the overlay says who broke it and at what. Two viewers sending the same number at the same moment break nothing (unless strict mode is on).
  4. The stream's record stays on screen; if a break was unfair, you cancel it from the dashboard.

On the viewers' side

Viewers take part by typing the next number in chat. Everything happens on the overlay in OBS: no extension to install, nothing to authorise.

Settings you can change

  • Strict mode — Even two viewers sending the same number at the same moment break the count. Otherwise the second one is ignored for 2 seconds.
