Chat ball drop

Plinko

The TV game, chat edition: each viewer drops a ball at the top of a peg board, it bounces from peg to peg and lands in a slot worth 10 to 1000 points. A game takes under a minute, enough for a few between two games.

How a game goes

  1. Play opens the entries: chat types !plinko (or !drop), each viewer gets a ball and a colour.
  2. The drop starts on its own after the time you chose, or when you click Drop the balls. The balls go one by one, from the middle of the board.
  3. Each ball that lands shows its name and points; the best score so far stays beside the board.
  4. The ranking follows the points, and a draw settles equal scores; the first three get 10, 7 and 5 season points, the others 1.

On the viewers' side

Viewers take part by typing !plinko in chat while entries are open. Everything happens on the overlay in OBS: no extension to install, nothing to authorise.

Settings you can change

  • Balls at most — 2 to 100: beyond that, further !plinko lines are ignored.
  • Automatic drop (seconds) — 15 to 300 after the entries open. 0: you drop the balls yourself.
