Predictions

Twitch predictions without affiliate status: "will the boss fall before 9 pm?", chat bets virtual points and the winners take the pot. Points last for the stream; nothing is kept afterwards.

How a game goes

  1. You ask the question and its outcomes (2 to 4) from the dashboard, with the time to bet.
  2. Each viewer gets points on their first bet and bets with !bet 2 100 (or all); one bet per viewer per prediction.
  3. Bets close when time is up or when you decide; you then pick the winning outcome, or cancel and everyone gets their bet back.
  4. The winners share the whole pot in proportion to their bets; the overlay shows the odds while betting, then the biggest wins.

On the viewers' side

Viewers take part by typing !bet 1 100 in chat (outcome, then amount). Everything happens on the overlay in OBS: no extension to install, nothing to authorise.

Settings you can change

  • Starting points — What each viewer gets on their first bet of the session (100 to 100,000). Everything starts over at each Play and Stop.
  • Time to bet (seconds) — 15 to 900. The default; you can also leave bets open until you close them.
