Virtual points

Chat auction

An auction house in chat: every lot has an estimate, but its true value stays hidden until the hammer. Some are fakes, some are gems. Chat bids virtual points, and nothing is kept after the game.

How a game goes

  1. You start the game from the dashboard: 3 to 12 lots come up one after another, each with its estimate.
  2. Each viewer gets points on their first bid and outbids with !bid 150 (or all); a bid in the last 5 seconds puts the clock back.
  3. At the hammer, the top bidder pays and finds out the true value: a fake, a fair price or a gem.
  4. At the end, the richest (points left plus the value of their lots) wins; the game counts for the season.

On the viewers' side

Viewers take part by typing !bid 120 in chat. Everything happens on the overlay in OBS: no extension to install, nothing to authorise.
