Chat score

Chat's verdict in seconds: anything you show gets a score out of 10, with the average and the spread of scores on the overlay. Scores last only for the stream.

How a game goes

  1. You say what chat scores (or leave it blank) and open the vote from the dashboard.
  2. Viewers type a score from 0 to 10 (7, 7.5 or 7/10); a new score replaces their previous one.
  3. The average and the columns move live on the overlay, or stay hidden until the end if you prefer.
  4. The vote runs on a timer or until you close it; each result joins the list of the stream's scores.

On the viewers' side

Viewers take part by typing a score from 0 to 10 in chat. Everything happens on the overlay in OBS: no extension to install, nothing to authorise.

Settings you can change

  • Default timer (seconds) — 15 to 600. For each vote you pick a timer or an open vote.
  • Live results — The average and the columns move during the vote. Untick to show nothing before the end.
